The nearspacecraft hull
The nearspacecraft hull © ANP
Lately we have been very busy with other projects and ANP progress has been slower than expected. Do not expect launch date estimates anytime soon. We are getting there - slowly but steadily.

Latest progress:

  • The nearspacecraft hull is completed (for more information see Hull technology page)
  • Sensor network and cabling is completed (for more information see Avionics page)
  • Main battery protection, sensors and chemical heater packs.

Currently we are working with:

  • HRI (High Resolution Imager) and LRI (Low Resolution Imager) - two instruments that will be aboard first ANP flight
  • Parachute and balloon suspension lines
  • Flight computer and ground control software
  • Helium filling equipment (tubing and fittings)
